Police are appealing for information after an attempted theft in Hereford.
Officers are keen to identify a potential victim and a witness to an attempt purse theft on Newtown Road.
It happened just before 4pm on Tuesday.
Investigating officers say the victims were an older couple. The female was wearing a blue/green coat.
The witness was a male in his 30's and driving a Tractor & Trailer. This Male intervened and inevitably prevented the theft from occurring.
