Two people have died following a serious house fire.
At around 8pm last night, police were informed by the fire service that they were in attendance at a fire at a house in Bromyard Road.
Officers attended to assist with closing the road to enable firefighters to deal with the incident.
Sadly, a 21-year old male and an 18-year old female have been found inside deceased. Next of kin have been informed, formal identification has not yet taken place.
A cordon around the property is still in place, fire investigators will be in attendance this morning, the cause of the fire is not yet known.
Chief Superintendent Kevin Purcell said: "We were called to assist the fire service with a fire in Cotheridge, near Worcester, last night at around 8pm, sadly two young people have been confirmed as deceased - a 21 year old man and an 18 year old woman. A cordon is still in place and a fire investigation will now take place."
The road has are now reopened but there are traffic calming measures in place to slow the traffic in the area.
