Two men have been charged and are due to appear in court next month (February) following a football match in Shrewsbury.
Will Smith, aged 25, of Whitehouse Gardens in Shrewsbury, was charged with entering the field of play designated for a football match. He is due to appear at Telford Magistrates Court on Tuesday 18 February.
Adon Francis, aged 39, of no fixed abode, was charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He is due to appear at Telford Magistrates Court on Tuesday 11 February.
The charges come following the Shrewsbury FC and Wrexham AFC match on Thursday 16 January in Shrewsbury.
A third man, aged 29, who was arrested on suspicion of entering the field of play of a designated football match, and possession of class A drugs was released on bail as enquiries continue.
