Two people have been arrested following an assault in the Hunderton area.
It happened on Luard Walk at the junction with Lewis Smith Avenue at around 3pm yesterday.
An 18-year-old man was walking along when he was approached by another male, who is reported to have assaulted him. The victim suffered injuries to his arm and was taken to hospital.
A 17-year-old boy from Hereford was arrested on suspicion of assault and a 52-year-old woman also from Hereford was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They both remain in police custody at this time.
Detective Inspector Mark Peters said: "An investigation has commenced and we are keen for anyone who saw the incident or who was in the area at the time to please come forward.
"Any information, no matter how small, could be significant to our investigation."
