The family of a man who died in a collision near Ross-on-Wye has paid tribute.
A red Yamaha motorbike was travelling on the A40 shortly after 8pm last Thursday. After passing the turning for Whitchurch village and approaching Symonds Yat services, it is understood to have been in collision with a pedestrian.
The motorcyclist - who has been named as Rob Boyd - and the pedestrian - a man in his 30s - were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
Paying tribute, his family said: "Rob had one of the kindest hearts going. He was always willing to help anyone out and had so much love and admiration for his son.
"He had a passion for music and motorbikes and will always be remembered for his laid back and warm nature. Rob always left a mark wherever he went and we're all devastated from the news and it still hasn't quite sunk in yet."
Officers remain keen to speak with anyone who saw the incident, was in the area at the time, or has dashcam footage of the collision.
