Tributes are being paid to a former mayor and councillor who has passed away.
Karen Bavastock served on Bishop's Castle Town Council and was a well-known and respected figure.
Her funeral will take place this Saturday at Lydbury North Church.
The council says the town's flag on the Town Hall will be half mast on the day of her funeral until sunset.
Mayor Cllr Josh Dickin said “Karen was a one of a kind, a real doer and a person who truly had the best interests of Bishop’s Castle at her heart”.
