A tractor driver has been airlifted to hospital after suffering severe burns in Preston-on-Wye.
Emergency services were called to the incident at 12:15pm on Monday.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said a tractor and trailer had collided with over head power cables.
The driver was treated for severe burns by West Midlands Ambulance Service and then air lifted to hospital.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.10pm to an incident on Preston Court, Preston-on-Wye in Hereford.
"We sent one ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford to the scene.
"On arrival we found one patient, a man, who had sustained serious injuries.
"He received advanced trauma care at the scene and was conveyed to University Hospital Birmingham via air ambulance for further treatment."
More than 600 homes and businesses were left without power after the collision.
