Herefordshire Council is urging parents to apply for their child’s primary school place as time is running out.
Parents have until January 15 to apply for primary school reception classes in the county, for children who turn five between September 2019 and August 2020 (those born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015).
They must still apply for a reception class place for their children, even if they already have a place in the nursery associated with their preferred school.
Residents can apply online at www.herefordshire.gov.uk/primaryschooladmissions
For parents or carers who are unable to apply online, a paper application form can be requested from the council’s school admissions team on 01432 260925 / 260926 or email schooladmissions@herefordshire.gov.uk or dskyrme@herefordshire.gov.uk
The closing date for all primary school reception class applications is midnight on Tuesday 15 January 2019.
