Two Herefordian stepbrothers donated the spending money for their cancelled holidays on 48 grocery bags for vulnerable people.
Spencer Savory, 12, and his 18-year-old stepbrother Alex Hinkley of Hafod Road, Hereford, both had exciting Easter trips cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Instead, they decided to spend their holiday money on buying food for local people who couldn’t go out shopping because of their age or health.
Their parents contacted Herefordshire Council to make sure that the most vulnerable people received the bags of food. Age UK collected the bags and distributed them to vulnerable elderly residents in the county.
