Patients in Shropshire are being urged to use NHS services wisely as a five-day strike by resident doctors begins tomorrow.
Significant disruption is expected, with some hospital appointments and operations cancelled.
Minor Injury Units, GP surgeries and pharmacies remain open, and people are advised to call 111 for urgent care and 999 in emergencies.
The walkout follows a breakdown in talks with the British Medical Association over pay.
