Shropshire Council’s Shropshire Local Mobile service has extended its offer in Oswestry and Bridgnorth during the spring and summer period.

Shropshire Local Mobile aims to help those in more rural areas, where services and support from the council can be more difficult for some people to access. Over half of Shropshire’s population live in villages, hamlets and homes dispersed throughout the countryside, in what is England’s second largest inland county.

Additional days at both towns have been added due to the high footfall.

The service operates between 10am and 2pm at rotating market town locations and some libraries.

Upcoming dates are:-

Thursday 13 April – Oswestry Library
Friday 14 April – Bridgnorth Library
Tuesday 18 April – Crown pub car park, Albrighton
Thursday 20 April – Halo Severn Centre, Highley
Tuesday 25 April – Oswestry Library
Wednesday 26 April – Bridgnorth Library
