Serious collision closes A49 at Harewood End

The A49 is closed in both directions following a serious collision that has closed the road between the A4137 and the B4348 in Herefordshire.

All emergency services are working at the scene with West Mercia police leading the response. 

Diversion routes: 

West Merica police have implemented a diversion route for both carriageways using local routes at this stage. 

If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey.
