Hereford City Council is looking for local residents to join its liveried team as mace or stave bearers.
They are also looing for a Town Cryer to help out on an occasional basis.
The role involves attending Civic events, which are currently made up of 6 definite events; Mayor Making, the Three Choirs Festival, the Heritage Open Day, Remembrance Sunday, the Mayors Civic Service, and the Christmas Light’s Switch on.
A uniform is provided and training will be given.
