Robbie William's dad signs up as air ambulance ambassador

Midlands entertainer, comedian and singer Pete Conway (Pete Williams) is the latest person to become an ambassador and supporter to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity to help raise awareness of its lifesaving work.

Stoke On Trent born Pete - father to legendary pop star Robbie Williams was delighted to become an ambassador and supporter of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.  

Pete visited the Worcestershire airbase at Strensham last Friday before embarking upon the UK and European leg of the "Heavy Entertainment Tour" with his son the pop legend Robbie Williams. Pete will meet aircrew and staff and be given a guided tour of the airbase, helicopter and emergency lifesaving equipment.

Pete joins a host of celebrities and stars from the worlds of sport and entertainment who have agreed to become ambassadors and celebrity supporters.  Pete will help raise awareness and draw attention to the lifesaving work of the charity which receives No Government or National Lottery funding and relies solely on the generosity of the general public

Pete has a particular affinity to the lifesaving work of the charity who saved the life of a close friend of his.

Pete who is retired and lives in Stoke On Trent still keeps his hand in the entertainment business performing with son Robbie on his UK tours and special shows, where their duets have become a real treat to watch and a proud moment for father and son.
