Police officers and firefighters launched a rescue operation after receiving a report that a man had fallen into the River Wye near to Symonds Yat Caravan Park yesterday.
The incident was reported to police at 8.09pm last night.
Police say the man was found safe near to the river bank at around 1am this morning. The man, who is 31, was taken to hospital where his injuries are not thought to be serious.
