A prolific shoplifter has been jailed following offences in north Herefordshire.
Claudiu Florin Constantin, aged 25, was found guilty of three counts of theft at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court.
The defendant, from Milton Keynes, targeted several Co-op stores in Bromyard, Leominster and Hay-on-Wye.
He stole large quantities of medicines during incidents in 2024 and early 2026.
Constantin was sentenced to 12 months in prison, with an additional sentence activated from a previous suspended term.
West Mercia Police say he travelled across the country committing offences.
Officers arrested him after he returned to the area.
Police say shoplifting has a serious impact on retailers and local communities and will not be tolerated.
