Police appeal following spate of thefts

Police are appealing for information following a series of three thefts from cars and a garage burglary have taken place in the Tasley and Bridgnorth area between Monday and Tuesday.

Four linked crimes took place in Bridgnorth and Tasley between the 15th and 16th of October 2018.

There have been four crimes reported to the Police that took place between the evening of the Monday the 15th and the morning of Tuesday the 16th of October 2018. Given the nature and location of these crimes, it is likely that they were committed by the same offenders.

On Church Lane, Tasley, between 8:30pm on Monday the 15th and 7:15am on Tuesday the 16th of October 2018, a garage was broken into and a set of golf clubs stolen. This crime has been recorded as incident reference 0322S 161018.

On Church Lane, Tasley, between 6:30pm on Monday the 15th and 8am on Tuesday the 16th of October 2018, access was gained to a car and a quantity of loose change stolen. The glove box of the car was also searched, fortunately the owner had not left any valuable items there. The drivers door was left open by the offender. This crime has been recorded as incident reference 0112S 161018.

On Wenlock Road, Bridgnorth, between 8pm on Monday the 15th and 8am on Tuesday the 16th of October 2018, access was gained to a car and a Garmin Satnav and a quantity of loose change stolen. This crime has been recorded as incident reference 0315S 161018.

On Harley Way, Bridgnorth, between 11pm on Monday the 15th and 6am on Tuesday the 16th of October 2018, access was gained to a car and a pair of Rayban sunglasses and a quantity of loose change stolen. The glove box of the car was also searched, fortunately the owner had not left any valuable items there. This crime has been recorded as incident reference 0070S 161018.
