Accountants have submitted plans to convert their Ledbury offices into flats.
Jonathan Crowther has asked Herefordshire Council permission to change the use of the Crowthers Chartered Accountants office at 10 The Southend to two self-contained properties.
The proposals for the 18th century grade II listed building include removing the contemporary staircase on the ground floor and infilling the floor to separate the ground floor from the upper two floors.
Residents have until March 21 to comment on the scheme which planners are expected to consider by April 7.
