There are plans to convert some former offices in a Herefordshire town into homes.
G Bassett wants permission from Herefordshire Council to change the commercial use of the Old Grammar School on Church Street in Bromyard to residential.
The site has permission for five homes but this new proposal is to convert the building into three houses.
Consultants working on the scheme say the external appearance of the building will remain relatively unchanged apart from minor changes to insert new doorways where window openings currently exist.
They say the scheme will preserve the building’s special character and its setting in the town’s conservation area.
Residents have until December 18 to comment on the proposals which council officers expect to consider in January.
