A plan has been put forward for about 15 new homes in a Herefordshire village.
The outline application by Carrie Francis relates to 1.4 acres of farmland west of Field Fare within the village Little Dewchurch, midway between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye.
Little Dewchurch is earmarked for more homes in the county plan, and the village’s neighbourhood plan marks it as the village’s sole planned housing development site.
Five of the 15 homes – three with two bedrooms, two with three – would be classed as affordable, according to the initial proposal.
A draft agreement between the applicant and the council says the price of these would depend on local incomes and local house prices.
Priority would be given to those with connections to the parish, to neighbouring parishes, or failing that, to other Herefordshire residents.
The open-market homes would consist of five four-bedroom homes, three of three bedrooms and two on two bedrooms.
It would require a new entrance onto the C1261 Hoarwithy Road which runs through the village. Each homes would have two parking spaces.
Comments on the application, numbered 222666, can be made until September 29.
