Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision near Ludlow.
Emergency services including the Midlands Air Ambulance were called to Overton Road in Overton at around 3pm yesterday.
Police said a grey Honda CR-V was travelling on the B4361 towards the junction with Overton Road when it collided with a lorry travelling northbound.
A passenger of the car sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
The driver of the car was taken to the County Hospital in Hereford with minor injuries.
