Patients with appointments at Hereford County Hospital today, are being asked to leave extra time.
One of the car parks on the hospital site is temporarily closed to allow urgent survey work to take place in preparation for the arrival of the new 24-bedded ward.
This loss of parking spaces is causing delays and patients are asked to leave extra time and consider parking near the hospital if possible.
The drop-off zone at the hospital entrance is still open.
The Trust expects the car park to reopen this afternoon and apologises for the inconvenience.
