A man and a woman from the West Midlands have been jailed after admitting drugs offences.
Kian Reilly, 19, of Cliff Rock Road, Rednal, was jailed for 34 months and
Georgia Butler, 23, of Tinmeadow Crescent, Rubery, was jailed for 27 months.
Reilly admitted possessing heroin and crack with intent to supply and Butler admitted being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack.
West Mercia Police’s County Lines Team stopped a Vauxhall Astra in Redditch as part of an intelligence led operation on 15th November 2022.
During a search of the vehicle around £3,500 worth of crack cocaine and heroin were found.
They were both sentenced on 28th April at Worcester Crown Court.
The court was told Georgia Butler was the driver and Kian Reilly was the dealer who was a passenger in the vehicle. It is believed they were dealing on behalf of the ACE County Line from Birmingham in to Redditch.
The court ordered the destruction of all drugs paraphernalia and mobile telephones.
Detective Constable David Laver said: “Policing county lines is a force priority and cases like this show that people can contact us in confidence if they have any information about county lines drug dealing.
“We are pleased with the result of this case. Despite Butler only being a driver she has been given a strong sentence which sends a message to other people that get involved in drug dealing that no matter what their role we will seek to prosecute them.”
