One person has died following a fire in a flat in Leominster.
Firefighters were called out on Tuesday morning at 9.30am to reports of a flat fire on Waterworks Lane.
Two people managed to escape from the property but there was one fatality.
Fire crews from Leominster, Kingsland and Tenbury Wells attended the incident.
A West Mercia Police spokeswoman confirmed that a person had died in the fire.
Hereford and Worcester Fire & Rescue Service says an investigation has been launched to establish the cause of the blaze.
