Essential restoration works on Mordiford Bridge near Hereford will begin next Monday and last up to six weeks.
The project, in partnership with Balfour Beatty Living Places, will strengthen flood arches and replace the parapet to preserve the historic bridge’s integrity.
A 24-hour road closure will be in place during the works, with a signed diversion route for drivers.
The footpath will remain open.
