We are set for a mini heatwave next week with temperatures expected to reach the mid to high twenties.
After a record-breaking May, June is forecast to end in sizzling sunshine.
This weekend is forecast to be mostly cloudy, but the bright weather will pick up from Monday through the rest of the week.
Speaking about the next 10 days, Meteorologist Alex Deakin said: "The forecast is really quite settled - dry and sunny for most places - and yes, temperatures are set to soar, especially next week.
"This high pressure promises sunny spells through the weekend and into next week... that's when temperatures will really start to rise. Temperatures are expected to be well above average for most parts of the UK next week."
UV levels will also be extremely high, so sun cream and sunglasses will be essential.
Unfortunately for hay fever sufferers, pollen levels will also remain high.
