Fire crews have rescued a man who had fallen down a well in Knighton on Teme.
Firefighters from Tenbury and Cleobury, supported by the fire service Urban Search and Rescue Team and the Rope Rescue Team were called out yesterday morning.
The man had fallen 10 metres (32 feet) down a well and was in chest deep water.
Using specialist equipment a firefighter from the rope rescue team was winched down the well in order to rescue the man who is believed to have sustained minor injuries.
The rescue operation took over two hours following a delicate operation due to the risk of the surrounding area collapsing into the well.
