Ludlow Racecourse is expected to become a mass vaccination centre as part of the coronavirus vaccine rollout.
Racecourse officials are in talks with local health bosses about the site also being used for mass vaccinations in between racing meets,
If approved, it will require specialist flooring to be installed.
Further discussions on how and when the vaccinations can be provided around the spring racing calendar are ongoing this week.
