Peter Nutting, Leader of Shropshire Council, will be a speaker at a joint meeting of Craven Arms & Rural LJC (Local Joint Committee) and StrettonDale LJC next week.
The meeting will give an overview of the future priorities and challenges currently facing Shropshire Council.
There will also be the opportunity for the public to ask questions.
Members of the local police’s Safer Neighbourhoods Team will also be attending.
Cecilia Motley, local Shropshire Councillor for Corvedale, said: “This will be a good opportunity for local residents to hear about the new priorities following May’s local elections.”
David Evans, a local Shropshire Councillor for Church Stretton and Craven Arms, said: “Residents in the Craven Arms and Church Stretton local area are encouraged to come along and hear the up-to-date information and ask questions around areas of particular concern.”
Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting and to take part in the discussions.
The meeting will take place on Thursday 19 October 2017 at 7pm at Acton Scott Village Hall.
