Police have arrested a Herefordshire man who was wanted in connection with a serious collision.
28-year-old Patrick Joseph O'Connor reportedly fled the collision in Malvern yesterday morning.
The collision involved a green Ford Kuga and a grey Ford Fiesta. The Ford Kuga was travelling in the direction of Welland and the Ford Fiesta was travelling towards Malvern when they collided head-on.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a 42-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and has been transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham by ambulance.
A 28-year-old woman has also been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in relation to the incident.
West Mercia Police confirmed O'Connor was arrested earlier today (Tuesday).
