Herefordshire Council has revealed six more roads in the county that are to be repaired – and how much this will cost.
It has awarded a contract with Tarmac Trading Ltd up to the value of £213,570, plus 10 per cent contingency, for resurfacing works now under way on the U71224 and C1250 between Whitchurch and Llangrove, and planned for the C1037 Hostel Lane between Cobnash and Kingsland.
A further £282,477 is to be spent with Tarmac on “pre-surface dressing patching works” on a further four C-class roads to the south of the county.
