Hereford Mayfair is underway.
The traditional offering of 12-and-a-half bushels of wheat was presented by the Mayor to the Lord Bishop as payment for allowing the fair to proceed earlier.
The funfair will run until Thursday night.
A series of road closures will be in place including Broad Street, King Street, St Owen Street, Hight Town and Commerical Street.
