The NHS health trust which manages hospitals in Herefordshire has issued another urgent plea for staff.
Hospitals including the County Hospital in Hereford remain under pressure.
Wye Valley NHS Trust said: "We’re continuing to face extreme pressures across our hospitals and we’re therefore calling on WVT staff who are not working (may be on annual leave/not on shift) or those who work part time, and are available to work on our inpatient wards, to contact the Bank Office (via switch) at Hereford County Hospital ASAP. "
"This includes clinical and non-clinical support that is required, so it therefore doesn’t matter what role you usually work in, we would be very grateful for any time you can offer to come in to work and support our ward colleagues."
Medical staff at community hospitals including Leominster and Bromyard have also reported extreme pressures.
