A GoFundMe page has been created to raise funds for a Hereford family who lost their home in a devastating fire.
On Sunday evening, November 14, a fire broke out at a semi-detached house in Web Tree Avenue in Hereford.
Three fire crews from Hereford and Fownhope battled the blaze using one hosereel jet and one covering jet.
The ambulance service treated a man in 20s for smoke inhalation.
The organisers of the GoFundMe campaign said: "Our family has suffered an extreme house fire. Luckily, no was hurt; the only person in the house at the time was my son, who managed to escape through the garage just in time. Every room in the house is damaged either by smoke or fire, leaving it completely unliveable. Currently staying with family friends, we contacted our insurance company to find out that our mortgage advisor lied about sorting us building cover, leaving us with no help to fix our home. The money donated would go a long way in helping us rebuild both the house and new memories."
More than £1,500 has been raised since the GoFundMe page went live.
