Labour’s candidates in Herefordshire have given their views on what the party’s landslide election victory in the country means.
Joe Emmett, in the running for Hereford & South Herefordshire, said an incoming Labour government will be “a chance to for better services – the NHS, dentists, more green jobs in this area”.
“Labour will start to repair the damage,” he said.
Labour’s North Herefordshire candidate Jon Browning said: “I hope it will mean a new type of politics. This has been such a different and interesting election, and I’ve been told more young people have voted.
“I hope more people will engage more in politics.”
