A community meeting will be held in Leominster this month regarding the future of the town's only independent bakery.
The building which houses Central Bakery on West Street has been up for sale for the last year.
Estate agents said the Grade II Listed commercial and residential property sits over three floors with unit space, storage and staffing areas as well as an office and tenanted flat.
It has a guide price of £299,950.
Bakery Manager Hannah Lewis said: "We are continuing to trade until such a time as the property has been sold."
"As there is a concern that when Central bakery is sold there would be no bakery servicing in Leominster, when there has been one in the town for many many years. This proposal is not in conjunction with Central Bakery, it is a proposal completely separate, from a group of persons thinking of buying the property at 6 West Street."
"We have been consulted along the way, out of respect and to avoid any confusion or miscommunication."
"With escalating costs of ingredients and energy costs it is inevitable that smaller catering businesses are struggling and we have done our best to continue serving the people of Leominster on what we consider a big scale."
LARC Development Trust will be holding a public meeting at Grange Court on November 28th.
The meeting will discuss the possibility of creating a community bakery funded by local residents.
The meeting will start at 7pm.
