Citizens Advice will launch a drop in service in Bromyard from the end of this month,

It follows the support of funding from Bromyard and Winslow Town Council.

Anyone can Drop in at the Bromyard town council offices fortnightly Fridays between 10am and 12pm from 28th October.

Anyone needing further advice will be offered an appointment, and, where needed, access to their Debt, Benefit or Housing Caseworkers who are experts in their fields and can support those with more complex issues in those areas.

Sonya Gregory, Advice Service Manager said “Our new Drop in is part of our aim to make free advice services more accessible to the people of Herefordshire and is the first of our new outreach services to offer this. It comes at a time where many are justly concerned about the steeply rising costs of living, particularly costs around fuel and energy impacting severely, particularly on those with lower incomes.” Resulting from these concerns, Citizens Advice Herefordshire has seen a dramatic rise in the number of enquiries with many of these being directly related to rising costs."

If someone is unable to access the Drop in, they can contact Citizens Advice Herefordshire on 0344 826 9685, text on 0786 00 77 311 or email: advice@citaherefordshire.org.uk and they will make contact as soon as possible, calling from a withheld number.
