Delighted parents and midwives welcomed the arrival of four babies born at Hereford County Hospital on New Year’s Day.
Helen Price, Deputy Head of Midwifery at Wye Valley NHS Trust, said: “It’s a very special start to 2019 with the arrival of four babies born in our delivery suites at Hereford County Hospital on the first day of the New Year and supported by midwives on our maternity ward.
“Our midwives were delighted to celebrate with the families the arrival of the first baby girl born at 9.15am weighing 5.95 pounds, followed by the birth of three baby boys.
“When the babies and mums are ready to go home they will continue to receive support and advice from our community midwives, followed by support from our health visiting teams, on breastfeeding, nappy changing, bathing your baby, through to personalised care”.
