Fire crews tackled a fire at Bridgnorth Football Club last night.
Firefighters were sent to Crown Meadow at just after 9pm.
On arrival crews were faced with a rapidly developing fire involving the large conifer hedgerow and a the single tier football stand.
Two firefighters in breathing apparatus were deployed using a hosereel jet, along with other firefighters using the high pressure fogging system from our 4x4 vehicle.
The fire was quickly brought under control, and extinguished.
Fire officers have confirmed the fire was started by fireworks. West Mercia Police are investigating.
