A cyclist is in a 'critical condition' following a collision in Hereford.
Emergency services were called to the A438 Ledbury Road at just after 11:30pm last night.
Police confirmed a blue lorry and a cyclist were involved in the collision near the junction with Foley Street.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "On arrival, crews found the cyclist, a man, in a critical condition. Staff worked quickly to treat the man at the scene and continued treatment on route at hospital where the MERIT trauma doctors and critical care paramedic met them to assist with treatment.”
The cyclist was taken to the County Hospital with serious injuries.
West Mercia Police are appealing for anyone with information to call 101 quoting reference 667 of 17 November.
