Herefordshire families are being encouraged to head over to the Herefordshire Cat Centre in Allensmore this June as Cats Protection hosts its much‑loved Summer Charity Event, a community favourite packed with activities, treats, and of course, plenty of feline charm.
The event takes place on Saturday 20th June, running from 11am to 1pm, and offers free entry and on‑site parking, making it an easy and accessible day out for all ages .
Visitors can expect a lively mix of stalls, games, food, and fundraising fun; all in support of the centre’s ongoing work caring for cats across the county. Organisers promise “plenty to do, plenty to eat, plenty of prizes to be won and plenty of cats to look at”, creating the perfect blend of entertainment and animal‑friendly community spirit .
The event will be held at the centre’s site at Cobhall Common, Allensmore, Hereford, HR2 9BP, where staff and volunteers will be on hand to welcome visitors and share more about the charity’s work and the cats currently looking for their forever homes .
Cats Protection says it is looking forward to seeing supporters old and new come together for a relaxed, family‑friendly celebration, all while helping raise vital funds for feline welfare across Herefordshire.
