A body has been found in Oswestry as part of a search for 41-year-old Gareth Stephens, who was reported missing from Gobowen on Wednesday.
His next of kin has been informed and have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.
Formal identification is yet to take place.
The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
