A popular city cut-through will be closed for five days later this month.
Highways workers will close Bodenham Road from October 15 to 19 to resurface. The work will not go into South Bank Road.
Gatemen will allow access to local roads such as Britten Close/Chartwell when safe.
Drivers should speak to gatemen for access.
