A busy Hereford street could get a new late-night off-licence if a new bid is approved.
Pwya Mohamed Mirza, an Iranian national, has applied for a licence to enable the Hereford Off Licence, of 22 Commercial Street, to sell alcohol from 7am until 2am each day.
Between 11pm and 2am all sales will be made through a security hatch, the application says. The shop will have internal CCTV.
Signs will be displayed asking customers to be considerate of nearby residents, and bins provided for litter.
The premises, opposite the former JJB Sports, was previously used as a clothing store under the name Ubu.
Comments can be made on the application until June 28.
