Police are appealing for witnesses after a 29 year old man was left with facial injuries following an assault in Leominster in the early hours of Saturday.
The victim left the White Lion public house and was walking up Etnam Street in the direction of the town centre just after midnight, where a conversation was had with two unknown men.
They are then believed to have started punching and kicking him.
The victim was taken to hospital where he required surgery after sustaining a broken jaw.
