Police are appealing for witnesses or information following a distraction burglary in Hereford on Friday.
At around 10.30am, a man is reported to have entered the kitchen of a property in Hoarwithy Road and pointed at the boiler.
A knock was then heard on the kitchen window door and the man is understood to have walked back out the property and down a side passage where he was joined by a second man.
The men then left but when the victims - a couple in their 70s - checked the house shortly afterwards, they noticed a number of traditional jewellery items and a black bag were missing.

The first man is described as tall, mixed race and wearing a black and round summer hat, brown t-shirt, black trousers and black fabric type shoes.
The second man was thought to be shorter than the other man, possibly white, and carrying a black bag on his back.
Enquiries are ongoing but officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area, who witnessed the incident or who saw anyone matching the above descriptions.
