Police are appealing for information after a collision near Shrewsbury where a man sadly died.
Around 1pm yesterday, officers received a report of a collision between a blue Ford Focus and a black Mini on the B4386 between the A5 and Cuckton.
The road was closed while officers, West Midlands Ambulance and Shropshire Fire and Rescue services attended.
Both of the drivers were taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital. Sadly a 51-year-old man died and a woman is being treated for life-changing injuries.
Before the collision the blue Ford Focus was reported to be driving erratically in Shrewsbury town centre.
The car was driven from “The Gap” car park on Raven Meadows around 12.45pm and progressed towards Roman Road before turning left onto Mytton Oak Road.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who saw this car being driven or captured it on dash cam.
