Officers are investigating following a burglary and criminal damage at St Marys Church in Llanfair Kilgeddin, Monmouthshire.
The incident occurred sometime between 2nd and 3rd of August 2017.
Damage has been caused to an oak door of the church and historic oil lamps inside have been broken.
The offender/s have taken a large distinctive brass plaque along candle holders and metal pipes from an organ inside.
