Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision between a car and a pedestrian that occurred at about 9.30pm on Friday 31 August on the A417, just outside Ledbury.
A Mazda MX-5 Sport Convertible travelling east along the A417 from Ledbury towards the M50, was in collision with a 60 year old pedestrian on the carriageway, who sustained serious injuries.
The Mazda sustained a damaged windscreen. An ambulance attended and the pedestrian was taken to hospital in Birmingham. The road was closed to allow emergency services to attend the scene.
