The team behind a plan to create a luxury “eco-lodge” in a mini-airliner on a Herefordshire farm have withdrawn their planning bid for the scheme.
The re-purposed Jetstream 31 was to be set up at Holiwell Farm, near Dinedor Camp south of Hereford, offering guests “once-in-a-lifetime” sustainable accommodation.
But Shaun Middleton of local firm Acorn Construction, who submitted the application for planning permission, said: “We have had to pull the application, because the location is wrong.”
“It will go ahead at some point but we have to get it right, and we have some other locations in mind,” he said.
“It will take a while but it will definitely happen.”
The planning application, numbered 223807, appears to have been removed from Herefordshire Council’s website.
